Donquixote Doflamingo has attacked Dressrosa!! Can you defend Dressrosa against one of the Strongest Characters in the One Piece Universe??

Requirements: 40 Energy or 60 Energy
PLEASE NOTE: Just because you can fulfill the energy requirements does not mean you should do the dungeon. Please exercise caution!!

Reward:

Donquixote Doflamingo
Color: Technique
Type: Slashing

Captain Ability: 2x the HP and Attack of Slashing Units
Special: Switch 2 Orbs Freely and for One Turn Boost the Power of your Orbs.

This is a monstrous powerhouse for your Swordsman team; As a Captain, he is definitely one of the ones to consider for Swordsman. As a crew member, not only does he have an amazing Special that can act as a powerful Support, but he clocks in at an incredibly high 1,500 Attack (One of the top 3 in the game).

He is definitely a keeper!!

The 40-Stage
PLEASE NOTE: The team used in the following screenshots are NOT recommended. It was purely used for “scouting” purposes. For team recommendations please view the section after.

Donquixote 40 or 60 energy stage consists of 5 Stages. With varying mobs. These are NOT “squishy” and are generally fairly resilient. As a result, we do NOT suggest using a Vivi team for this Raid Boss.

Please be warned at Stage 4/5

These units have low HP but high armour and will be defeated fairly easily (like Turtles).

We suggest you focus on the units that are the ones your team is strong against i,e (If you use Technique units, we suggest you focus the Speed enemy first)

If any unit remains, they will lock any units they are weak to for a few turns. At the Stage JUST before Donquixote Doflamingo as well!! Exercise Caution!!

The Boss Fight
You are fighting… 2 Donquixote Doflamingo!! Haha! Bet Vivi teams didn’t see this coming!

Here are Donquixote’s Battle Patterns:

  • Pre-emptive: They will put up the debuff Protector (So you cannot poison, kill the armour, delay turns etc.) and deal half of your current health.

  • Turn 1: They will put up a Defence Buff

  • Turn 2: They will hit you for the first time, it will do approx. 9000 damage.

  • Turn 4: They will buff their attack, increasing their attack by ~2500 damage each (meaning around 5000 damage buff)

  • Turn 5: They will seal your middle row (both units) for 2 turns

  • Turn 7: They will reduce their attack turn from 2 -> 1.

  • Turn 8: They will start healing after they attack (every turn).

Numbers

NameStaminaHealthAttack
Doflamingo (Top)401,300,0004,500
Doflamingo (Bottom)401,300,0009,000
Doflamingo (Top)602,400,0006,000
Doflamingo (Bottom)602,400,00012,000

Overall Advice:
[list="margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 30px; margin-left: 40px; padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border: 0px; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: inherit; line-height: inherit; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: baseline;"]
[*]As they are Technique Units, You will want to use Force units on your team.

[*]You will want to kill at least one of the two Doflamingo BEFORE Turn 8 as they will start healing and the battle will become unbearable.

[*]Using Sogeking/100 Ton Hammer Usopp’s Turn Delay will help once the Protector Debuff has wore off (to stay alive).

[*]If you get the Doflamingo to 20% or below health, they will do 99,999 damage.

Recommendation for Teams:

Whitebeard Team

Perhaps you were fortunate enough to own a Whitebeard and have one in your team! Well the Good News is… Whitebeard teams will indefinitely help in this Raid Battle. Even Stage 60s can be done with a Double Whitebeard Team.

Luffy (Gear 3) Team

Maybe you’re like me and do not have the amazing 24-hour unit… But what we do have… is Luffy.
In this case, it’s time to hit some Perfects. A team will Gear 3 Luffy and some scoring some Perfects is a clear way to score a victory against the Shichibukai. Especially if you have a Force team to tag alone with.

As mentioned earlier, Force units are near essential in this Raid Boss… Without Strong Force units, it becomes near impossible to Knock-out a Doflamingo Clone before the 8thTurn… We suggest whichever team you use – Mihawk, Zephyr or even Gear 3 Luffy, to use any decent Force units you may have!Best of Luck with Saving Dressrosa!!
