[HELP] Help Choose Main Captain & Who to Keep!

Hello!

I used to play this game when it first came out on mobile. It was very fun but I quit for a while. I've recently came back and a lot of things were added and.... way too many characters now. At this point, I don't know which character is good or which character is deemed useless so I was hoping someone with good experience and high knowledge can just quickly guide me through with information.

1. I want to know which character I should main (put as captain and focus on leveling max/using boost/getting best skill books for).

2. I want to know which characters in my list are useless and I should trade up using bazaar and/or sell.

3. I want to know which characters are the top 10 in my list.

4. I want to know which characters would be the best to use as crewmates for which captains that I have to get the highest damage output.
