VIVI & LABOON Strategy Help

Can somebody please explain to me how the VIVI and Laboon partnership works?

I tried it on the 15 Stamina Veteran Arlong stage and He ended me with one hit. (The skull and Cross bones appeared but I thought the captain ability would over ride this.) I used my lvl 17 laboon (Wish i hadnt lvl'd him up) and a friend captain 2nd evolve vivi?

Any help or VIVI friend ID's would be much appreciated.

Hey, I'll try and explain this to the best of my abilities...

Your friend captain Vivi's healing ability HAS to heal half or more of your total HP.

Say your friend captain is on lvl 72 she will heal 2004 HP (I think this is accurate)
Your HP cannot exceed 4008. Laboons ability only works if your HP is above 50%. So you could have 2009 HP and Arlong will not knock you out regardless and you will always be left with 1hp. As long as its over half, laboons ability will (or should) work.

What ever your friends Vivi can heal times it by 5 then half it. That's your HP limit. Then build a team around that. Just don't exceed that value.

Thanks brother I think I've figured it out now. So basically I can times VIVI's RCV by 10 and thats what my HP Can be. (as she only has to recover half health and her rcv's x5) well just below x10 just to be sure. My team so far is:

Laboon - LVL 17 (my Captain)
Blamenco - LVL 34 - 1st evolve
Hacchi - LVL 22 (2nd Evolve)
Arm Point Chopper - LVL 11
Cabin Boy Helmeppo - LVL 6 (His special destroys enemies shield, should be helpful)

Total HP is 3062

I have a friend captain Princess VIVI LVL 76 - HP is 806 and RCV is: 411

411 x 5 = 2055 x 2 = 4110 - 3062 = 1048 - 806 = 242

So that is what my health can be is that correct (4110) ? and with my crew puts vivis ability over 51% per turn.

Why arent u using crabs + a strong char?
Crab - 50 hp 300 Atk

Yeah I've changed it up abit and swapped Hacchi for a red crab and added arlong (Level 51.) instead of blamenco

I need laboon and I have a vivi, usually use a zoro, but yhe day of mihawk I use a bibi, plis add me 854493806 thanks
