Who to work towards evolving

Who should I evolve
4* shanks or 4* ace
Which will be more useful latter?
Or should I just level up my G3 luffy, arlong, blamenco 5* or max out zeff and gp usopp?

Evolve shanks

I would say to level gear 3 because his damage output is greater than shanks or ace

Team wise this is not necessarily true, you can eventually get a super burst team with shanks and orb manipulators down the road (there is a vid with them dealing about 2.5 million in one turn against an int boss).

Between ace and shanks I would focus on shanks.

This all being said there is a very good reason to max your g3 luffy before all of these guys and that is friend points. If you have a max g3 luffy everyone will be using your luffy first and thus you get all dem points for events like the one coming up.

I say even though you can orb manipulate and use dial usop for twice damage for orbs for pay teams, this is usually for only one turn. While gear 3 with a friend always gives you 12.5 attack to three of your characters.

I say ace because he will be usefull for monster chopper which i believe is next after mihawk, but shanks with some orb manipulators and impact usopp's X2 ATK special can really dish out some damage.

@ Karillo If you can do 2 mill in damage in one shot you wont need much else. btw i alwayse run G3 luffy though for now.

The great thing about gear three teams, is the way you can change the three 12.5 damage characters to suit the boss your battling. For example, you can use sanji, kuro and ace as your three top hitters and that will destroy monster chopper, especially if you get blue orbs

@karillo @monty151 so would I then want to evolve ace for monster chopper? My G3 is 41 right now

You should evolve ace no question, but it is up to you to make him a captain of his own team or a sub of your g 3 team. This is for monster chopper, not mihawk, try to level up your g 3 for mihawk.

@karillo I was just ganna use laboon/ vivi because I don't think I can beat him if I mess up once

Well if you don't think you can perfect most of the time, laboon/vivi is the way to go. The only bad thing is it takes a bit more than an hour. As I want to farm as many mihawk as possible to level up his skill to max, that is way to long for me.

@karillo I seem to always mess up with ashura zoro and I don't have enough stamina to put blamenco in as a replacement an ideas for another unit?

Can you give me the list of characters you have? I could give you a lot of other characters but you may not have them.

Also I was thinking I could try and farm alvida and use my 20 purple turtles to get it to max and evolve would that be worth it?

Are using the gear 3 team or laboon team?

Hey just to ask, did you turn off sfx in options? That makes it so much easier to hit perfects

As for what I use during story mode I will use a double ashure zoro or Zeff team
And I normally play with the sound off

So sorry I couldn't message you earlier, I had school. Alright this my suggestion.Use Arlong, sanji, GP usopp, and alvida as your crew. If you can farm her and evolve her that would be a huge boost both because of her special and she is a str character. I chose sanji because even though he is a QCK character, his special will clear all the mobs in the second last stage who can lock your units. I used sanji because I think balmeco will exeed your cost but if you can fit him in, do it his special is great. I am going to use the same exact crew I just told you

Another thing, you should turn everything of in the options menu except for push. This will help with perfects.Farming alvida is purely luck so if you don't get her put in smoker because of his defensive special.

The levels do count as well. Try to level up your units to at least 50 or up, you don't have to do that for usopp because all you want him is for your special and his attack is terrible. Try to get a high leveled gear 3 friend too.

For the most part the team you said is what I was thinking but sanji or zoro was the big one that I didn't know. And I'll try out the settings thanks for the big help. So now that we established all this should I wait longer to put levels into ace?

You should definitely wait until mihawk is over to level up ace. Your lucky, my only strong QCK character is sanji and I hope I can beat chopper, because I really want him. I mainly focused on a strength team

Yeah I got lucky In I got a lot of good characters that I needed to just evolve which is the pain but it's better than not having them best of luck in the future
