Farming fusion material and bosses

When farming fusion materials (i.e. xp turtules) or bosses (i.e. arlong), would it be best to manually target those farmable cpu first as oppose to the auto targetting system they have?

There is no "confirmed" theory around that...
It's all player-based superstition. I, generally always let auto-targeting do its thing and I farmed 12 turtles from baratie-4 in 2 days. Others go a day without 1...

12 turtlessss?!? Lol I've gotten like 3 or 4 in 3 days
