Yes, he's useful. Mostly used in a PSY team. He boosts orb damage of matching orbs.

Let's say you have a Mr2 and Garp - you can get a full set of Psy orbs. Coby will boost the damage.

Can also use for other teams too if you can match orbs.

Depends on the units you have.
