Max Mary keeps failing

I just did my 9th attempt to max out Mary; it failed...

How many times did you guys try to max out Mary? No other level took more than 2-3 attempts, so getting sad.

I've been on the second to last level up for it for about a month now. Failed like 5+ times :/. Really hoping I can max it before Mihawk.

The last week I'd lose 45 Colas just to level it up to lvl 6 so.. I think it's normal to fail maaany times at Max LvL..

how you get so many cola? My merry is 7 which already took me a long time

Using gems to farm Arlong Expert.

i farm arlong expert full time.. barely get cola? lol
If its a chest I get nami skill book or if arlong drops its 95% arlong skillbook.
Very very rare i get cola in a chest. Event isle arlong right?

I have gotten about 3-4 cola from arlong himself (most of the time its his skillbook)
I have gotten maybe 7-10 from the other rounds
the rest were from using the last of my stam to level (lvl 110 so 15 stam left after running twice)

Using the last of my stam has been very rewarding, got some pirate penguins, and got zeff.

I have over thirteen failes now. Till lvl 7 I didn't even know it could fail, lol

Im at 12-13 attempts now and still failing. GL complekz!

I've spent more than 105 colas to get merry up to lv 9, i am starting to hate usopp for now.. Sigh
Here is the tip, farm cola at arlong park or lougetown when the weekly 0.5 stamina occured
I got alot of cola from there

For farming colas you should farm the 10 stage levels such as final stage for loguetown and arlong park when they are half stamina (optimal for farming purposes). Have also heard that level 10 in loguetown is decent although that might have been poster's preference as they mentioned wanting tashigi.

Side note: Final levels of current last 3 areas are best for p-lvl exp/stamina on half stamina days as well so it is really a win win to spend your stamina there.

As for the fortnight islands I would think they are the worst areas to farm cola since even chest %chance procs are split with books and cola. Like I have gotten next to no zolas from 30 stamina arlong, just skillbooks.

In regards to going merry (is it really called mary in the dubbed version?) I have had pretty damn awful luck as well. RNG is RNG and since we don't have access to the actual %s who knows if we have been unlucky, lucky or average?

Edit: Odds are final level for whiskey peak will be top exp/stamina in game but who knows.

It was tough but after 10 tries i finally did it... keep trying guys when you don't expect it, happens

Extra Island, 15 stamina

Arlong park last stage, do farm cola when 0.5 stamina
