Teambuild for Mihawk lvl 30

I already read a lot of guides how to beat mihawk and stuff but unfortunately i am missing some key chars for most of those teams.


are there any suggestions which team i should build to have a chance to beat mihawk sta 30?
I thought about using the strongest slashers i have + usopp golden hammer
or trying to level blamenco, luffy and arlong as much i can + usopp and smoker for damage reduction.
what do you think?

If you evolve the alvida you should have zero issue taking down sta 30 mihawk with team listed above.

even if they are just around level 40?

If you give me atk values I can verify, but it should be fine.

Alright, with all perfects and a 1.2x merry you are hitting for 232981 damage a turn. Mihawk has 590,000 health on 30 stamina so that is a piece of cake for you considering you have at least 5 turns to attack with usopp and alvida (start with alvida's special for first hit and then do usopp special btw).

Now, the better part, you can also handle 40 stamina mihawk if you land all perfects. This one has a vastly smaller margin for error as with 5 sets of perfect you deal 1,164,906 and mihawk has 1190000 health. With your specials added in you can take him down (if you get a good blamenco special for a bunch of force orbs then it is a helluva lot easier, you can take him down without that as well tho).

ok thank you for answering so fast and detailed. right now i have merry without atk x 1.2, the upgrade failed 3 times in a row o.O, do you know whether there are any conditions i need to meet to successfully upgrade or is it just randomly failing?

It is just rng, without the 1.2x buff you can't take on 40 stamina but 30 will be fine.

Hey quick question, I have been lvling my vivi and is currently sitting at lvl 52. I was planning on using her and laboon with arlong, red black cat, and a couple crabs. However after reading the above I was wondering if G2 luffy w/ 687 atk, 4*Alvida w/ 770 atk,Arlong w/1235 atk, Mr.5 w/ 520 atk, and Ussop w/ 597 atk paring with a G3 cap handle 40 stam as well? You would loose out on boosted recovery of balmenco but still have the same multiplier. Also I am sitting on 25 red turtles and some elders so can always boost. If so please let me know because this would be by far a  faster clear then using the vivi team. Oh and I do have the x1.2 merry boost.

Yeah that team can take him down in 5 turns, again make sure to lead with alvida special.

Including all of your units specials you have a margin of about 53,500 damage of which you kill him by.

Edit: Forgot to say I did this calculation with a 1k atk g3 luffy as guest captain, margin will be smaller/larger depending upon the atk of your friend's g3.

Oh awesome, and when you say lead with alvida special do you mean use it on stage before mihawk to reduce pre emptive?

Nooooo, you use it for mihawk's turn one attack. Pre-emptive can't be mitigated with specials, only captain's ability. I mean use her special for turn one and then use usopp after mihawks first attack. Sorry for not being clear.

i'm not that good at hitting perfect under pressure

what damageoutput will i have, when i use a g2 luffy co captn with 978 atk?
and what damageoutput with g3 co cptn with 1105 atk?

No clue about double g2, I would stick with g3 co captain as you can handle 40-stamina with those attacks.

My calculator no longer works on atk values (you enter in char levels and it can auto-calculate the values).
