Santoryu or 36 Pound?

Now that Loguetown has been announced for next week, should I just evolve Zoro into Santoryu or go with 36 pound?

I did santoryu because every color of the pirate penguins spawns in a different level, so I don't risk wasting stamina and then finding the wrong color. The drop chance will still be low I guess, I'll have to grind a little, but at least I can use those 15 levels worth of exp for someone else, like kuro.

I did 36 pound but with loguetown coming out soon I would say go with Santoryu. I have Asura but it cost quite a bit of belli and turtles for that extra 15 levels going with 36 pounds.

You can grind for turtles to level up 36 pound or grind for penguins to evolve. Not sure the drop rate for the penguins but the turtle drop rate from event is pretty good.

I would prefer the 36 pound zoro because farming penguins is horrible they have a bad chance to dropp !

what about the drop rate on Wednesday penguin island?
it takes about 15 turtles to go from lvl 35->50...which is roughly 25-30 elite buggy runs. Could pirate penguins really be worse than that?

Per FAQ on main webpage. However, I seen people who goes 100 plus rounds without a boss drop.

Question: What are the Droprates of "X" Unit?

If you are defeating Storymode Units, the bosses like (Arlong, Zeff, Creek) have a regular droprate of 5-8 % !.
Turtles are about 15%. Random Pirates 1-2* are around 70% to drop.
Fusion Materials drop about 10%.

Special Isles / Events have higher droprates, the higher the difficulty is ! Example: Elite has currently a Boss Dropchance of 25% - 35%

Remember: Only 1 drop per Stage. So select the Unit you want to have a chance on at first!
