drops affected by hitting sequence

let's say we have a stage with 5 mobs and a turtle and we want to get that turtle. Does it increase the drop chance ever so slightly if we attack that turtle first and then clear the rest of the mobs or is it predetermined if the turtle will drop or fodder will drop from that stage in a chapter

attack the turtle first just  in case 
even though i think its predetermined.
