Question about rankings

Hey guys, I'm kinda confused about the requirements for the bounty rewards for the current friend ranking in "Above the Clouds: A New Trial"

For instance, for Lv 1 it says that it is required that the damage you deal should exceed 50,000 4 times. Well I've played the stage in question 6 times already and everytime I've had rounds in which I've exceeded the damage of 50,000 (sometimes even more than twice as much). Yet I didn't get the reward. So apparently I'm doing something wrong. Can somebody tell me what I would need to do? Thanks in advance.

You have to achieve 50,000 damage 4 separate times during the 10 waves to get the first ranking reward.

But this is exactly what I have been doing. Except for the Kamakiri wave I mostly manage to get far more then 50,000 damage in every wave and nothing happens. I've already beat more than half a dozen stages that way to no avail. Is there any other requirements I'm missing? Does it have to be done with a certain character, type etc.?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry if I sound like a broken record but this is exactly what I have been doing. I might not exceed 50,000 often enough to get 38 points or even the 16 points. But I exceed them often enough to get 4 points (which is all I want). But it just doesn't count.

Just now I've checked in the mid-battle stat menu to see what registers. I score a little more then 50,000 and in the stats it says "current: 0". Then I score more than 100,000 and the stats still say "current: 0". Then I score more than 160,000 and now the stats say "current: 1".

But now comes the funny thing, while the following waves in which I've scored more than 100,000 damage did not count, the very last round in which I've scored slightly above 60,000 suddenly counted.

To sum it up, I scored one point with 160,000 damage and one with 60,000 damage. But the several times I've exceeded even 100,000 damage did not count. So what am I doing wrong? As I said, I don't want 38 points as I will never be able to get them. But I should have earned 4 points long ago.

Are you counting total damage done in the wave (the number it says when your Atk is over)? Because for it to count a single character has to do 50k damage by himself. Say just for example your team is made up of luffy, zoro, sanji, nami, usopp, and a Robin friend. You would get 1 point if luffy does over 50k damage by himself, but 0 if he does 49,999 or less. That's the best way I can explain it, hope it helps you out.

Ahh, now it all makes sense. Perfect, didn't know that a single character has to do such damage. That explains why sometimes very high total damage didn't count and lower damage did count. Thanks a bunch. Got the 4 points now.^^
