Decrease in Drop Rate

I'm having a very hard time trying to farm certain characters (Laboon, Vivi, Arlong, pirate penguins, etc). My drop rate overall on every stage gets worse the more times I play them. Even during special Drop 2X islands, I'm still only getting 1 or 2 drops per stage. Is everyone else having a problem with their drop rates decreasing overall and is there a way to fix it?

yea.. ive only looted 2 cola this week.

It is rng, for some reason last night at like 4am  EDT(dunno why I was awake) I used the start of .5 stamina twin capes and did the 1st level squid. Got 4 red turtle drops in a row. Have gotten like one more in next 25+ lol.

Got 4 or so colas during those farming runs as well which (might?) be low for a 7 stage area.

i dont bother with story mode anymore i just do the fortnightly events and get better drop rates

I like half stamina for last 3 areas as you get better exp/stamina than any fortnight.

The fortnight events drop better for me than the story mode, but the drop rates in fortnight events are also going down.

I did today 20 runs to get the elder sea Pony, but i didnt got a Single one.... This is shit, it appears only once a weak and then its nearly impossible to get. I need fucking 5 of them...

i got 3 elders in maybe 6 runs, but have trouble on getting golden pirate penguins...but thats the rng game

I had been farming laboon non stop since last patch, 150+ runs. Got the title on floor 10, then switched to floor 9 for at least twice as many runs.

Then laboon dropped on my 2nd run after reading this thread....

so which floor do you recommend for farming laboon
