how the drop rate works in this game

it's like a whole week that I've been trying to farm broggy because of the garp event and I've already killed that fu***r like 100 times i just wanted to know if the game counts all of them or just the ones that I've done in a single day please reply asap cause today it's stamina 0,5

It doesn't count yout runs at all. Farming brogy in half stam is useless, he never dropped there for anyone. To give you some refrences:
It took me 80 runs in drop x2 for him (with gems)
Senpai needed 170 runs (130 in drop x2)
and pank needed about 30 runs 
It depends on luck

basically my team right now is:
towel nami lvl70
brain point chopper lvlmax
nico robin lvl 70
buggy lvlmax
e coby lvl70 (with his special at maximum level)

i just wanted to ask you if this team can clear garp out or not
btw i have also whitebeard 6* lvl40 but i don't know how to create a int team that can defeat garp

that team is enough to beat garp easily. you should kill him in 2-3 turns. Also since you have the int burst crew no need of whitebeard. 
If you still unsure:
just level your towel nami and robin with the last turtle time before garp
Maybe try farming that brogy on friday and if your lucky you'll get him
(but you dont really need him with that crew)

I got him to drop first day he came out.... Only took me like 6 trys guess i got lucky

Brain Point Chopper may actually be better than Broggy here since Broggy has 18 turns to cool down, and you need to be able to take at least (3 * 2980 = 8940) damage if you can't kill him in 2 turns.
From some calculations other people did, there are 2 more pre-reqs you need:
1) Max level Merry (1.2x attack won't be able to take him down even with max characters)
2) 1-2 extra purple orbs (besides the 3 you get from Broggy/Brain Point + Buggy) so you need at least 4 shining purple orbs for the first attack.
3) Not really a pre-req but hit all perfects. 1 Great or Miss in the wrong place is game over basically. (I know my finger will slip under the pressure for sure )

Typing these made me more nervous myself

Broggy's special can be reduced by feeding him either Gaimon or Johnny. And from what I heard, his skill level can drop all the way to 8 turns (not 100% sure there). So you can farm Johnny in barratie 1 during 2x droprate and gaimon in Orange town to level broggy's skill

@Happy go lucky, you do not need a max merry in order to beat garp if your int units are high levels. Robin is the really important character here, and with her, buggy, broggy/BP chopper, coby and double nami as captain or g3/nami, you can take down garp even with 1.2x merry.

Well, it's possible, but you need luck as well. Assuming: (with 1.2x Attack Merry)
1) All max characters
2) 1st attack, 5 purple orbs
3) 2nd attack, purple on 1 nami, no PSY total = 1,901,530 therefore you need at least 3 attacks
4) 3rd attack, no PSY = 2,157,777 which is barely making the 2.1mil cut

Now, assume you only have 4 purples on 1st attack,
1) 2nd attack, lucky purple on Robin, no PSY total = 1,792,629
2) 3rd attack, no PSY = 2,048,876 which won't make the cut requiring you to attack 4 times

Base Damage taken: 2550 + 555 + 2980 + 2980 = 9,065 therefore you can't take the 3rd hit from Garp unless you get a heal in between.

You need to stall 3 turns in 1) 2 turns in 2) 2 turns in 4) but Robin's max cool down is 12 so that leaves with 5 in turn 3) at least, and chances are, 555 might turn into 1,110 which requires you to heal at least twice before Garp if you want to take the 3rd hit.

All in all, yeah, it's possible, but it's going to be very right, and chances are, if someone has not maxed Merry, they are not going to have all maxed characters either, which will make it more difficult to clear Garp.

Drops = Luck and only Luck.

I got my Zeff with the first try (second try ever on Baratie 3) with Drops Rate x2 on Baratie 3.

Ive ran broggy map over 450 times (30 gems and counting), and no drops yet.. So dont worry of u having a bad luck, u have someone worse here lol
