Chopper Skill Up Empty Chopper Skill Up

So...Chopper's original skill is called "Hearty Yell", but if I evolve him to Brain Point, his skill name changes to "Scope".

What I want to know is, since both of them have the effect "changes neighboring characters' slots to RCV" do I keep the skill level when I evolve him to Brain Point? (with the same delay)

Anyone 100% sure?

^ correct. Even though it has the same effect its a different skill.
