Noob Mistakes :D

So guys, tell us about all the NOOB mistakes you made when first starting this game. I know it hasn't been long, but oh well.

***This topic is meant for humor, but is also a good way to help those starting out***

I'll start off:

-Sold 5 star Black turtle (the one you get from rating) because didn't know what it was and saw it was only lv 1 so wasn't worth power up

-Sold Coby (didn't regret that, lol) and almost sold Sanji because took up too much inventory space

-2 Kuro's and ended up selling one (didn't know about same character bonus or lv up special)

-Used up AT LEAST 10 rainbow gems on reviving (spent 3 gems on Smoker stage of 0-STAMINA, ended up failing anyways)

-Got Zeff from Baratie-3 first try, thought he was just some useless old geezer like in the anime and sold him (deeply regret that now)

-Not a mistake BUT: Farmed Arlong-15 71 TIMES trying to get 4 star Arlong, ended up getting 3 star  ToT


Kk I think that's all the things I have, haha. I'm alot stronger now and more knowledgeable (Pirate Level 53 atm) so no need to worry

Also I got my lv 45 Shanks and lv 50 Buggy to protect me ^^

used Sanji as power up material, threw away 2 Djangos, almost threw away Ace cause his 4 stars sucks

I also made the mistake of using a rainbow gem to revive on the eternal forest training level. I didn't understand how precious they were when I started playing.

I used Helmeppo to power up someone; can't remember who. I later got Chore Boy Helmeppo; his fate was the same. Would have been much easier to beat Alvida with either one.

Not a big mistake, but... I used 2 Three Thousand Worlds Zoro to power up my 108 Pound Phoenix Zoro. If I'd known about special leveling, I'd have saved them to try to level Asura Zoro's special after evolving them to Asura - as they take much less XP to do so.

*sigh* Oh, well. I have Diable Jambe Sanji to finish Alvida in one blow now!

Nice, I also sold off/powered up many of my somewhat more useless gatcha pulls (eg. Hatchi, Nami, Sanji) because I thought it would give a better bonus.

Probs wasted a total of 14 rainbow gems on stupid things (revival mainly, but sometimes stamina when it was basically full, idek why) Until I realized just how scarce they are later on.

Didn't log on for a week so lost both Log in bonus AND 7 daily rainbow gems.

Total: 21 rainbow gems lost and more coming lol

I got terrible picks and didn't realize I could reroll. Used nami chopper and usopp as materials for power ups. I wasted like 8 fruits on revives as well. But that training island was asking for me to kick its ass.

@Alecfisher haha, i seriously sympathize with you. Just couldn't get rid of the bad taste after being KO'd by Smoker in one shot back then. Now it's like "I wasted rainbow gems on THIS???" 0.o

Fusing a buggy lv50 . I dont even know when I did that, at some point i checked my inventory and see he is gone. Feel so bad .

Oh my, never done that before myself, but that's just sad...
From now on, remember to always favorite all your good chracters/evo/boosts!

Let this be a lesson to all those who immerse into the OPTC world

Powered up few at a time as I gained. Not saving 5 and doing it then...

Used "sell" on the evolution items, saved the crabes since 500 atk. -_-;;

Got up late at night for turtle island:
Maxed Helmeppo instead of powering up Nami
Evolved Usopp to Sogeking
Checked next morning and it wasn't a dream

@red hat I totally relate to that. Used color penguins/hermit crabs to power up units because thought they would give more exp...greatly disappointed

Also used to sell all my turtles because gave lots of beli, and thought they were only some sort of evo item back then

More than once I wouldn't pay attention and refilled stamina with Gems.
Overall started tooooooo late using Gems to expand character limit.
Sold INT and DEX Choppers because of weak stats, kept Heart.
Used Cola on all ships at first and tried to keep them all on the same level.
Changed ship only for Crew 1/6 and forgot to do it for the others.

Leveled the baratie ship up to level 7 before realising that you get a attack boost from the going merry

Also, didn't know the ship upgrade can fail. I've failed upgrading merry 3 times in a row now.

I used gems to revive on Arlong and Smoker.  It wasn't too bad because they both gave me the gem back, but now I farm them on half stamina for colas and it seems like a waste.  

I also probably should have rerolled my account if I knew you could do that...I had a  free Luffy and a Pearl start.  But maybe because I didn't reroll, I was lucky enough to get a couple 5 stars later.

Oh...and I leveled Baratie over the + ATK ship -__-;;

how is that a mistake? i still get up at night to do my half hour turtle then zzz again and im sure plenty of others do it.
It sounds maybe a crazy thing to do but its not really a mistake?

Nah, I think maybe he meant should've used turtles on Nami instead of Helmeppo,
and Evolving Hammer Usopp to Sogeking by accident.

Last night, accidentally Evolved 3* Zoro on my alternate account 36-Pound way, WHEN I FRICKEN HAD 3 GREEN PIRATE PENGUINS. Sigh. The struggle from lv 35-50 is real

When this game was new to me I used stupidly used characters to power up which I look back on in regret. The likes of Zeff, Mr 3 & even balloon luffy. Had to wait until recently to get G3.

When doing a few mihawk runs, calculated the teams hp and Vivi's heal for laboon runs. Not once, but twice KO'd by mihawk. Took me 5 minutes to realise I still had the
Baratie set as my ship -.-

Luckily we're human and we can all make mistakes.

I failed powering up and gave two of mine elders to another elder.
