Need to vent (farming woes)

For real... I'm at close to 70 attempts at farming fudgie the whale and that bastard just will. not. drop.

Is there a 100 victory title? Right now I'm using the Rival one I got at 50...

This is just damn ridiculous. And I refuse to do anything else until I get that damn whale so I know I can take mihawk. Until then I'm not running any other missions / extra isles.

EDIT: I think 2x drop rate for Twin Cape is on Sundays. Maybe you can get it then?

have you got vivi? i can add you as i have laboon? i got laboon when it was a double chance drop rate. I'm the same with smoker and zeff

No I don't have Vivi unfortunately. the only good luck I've ever had was a zeff drop on my first try.

Never got any other decent drop from farming...

it's harsh man, they need to improve the drop rates. I've been trying to farm smoker since lougetown came out! I can feel some sympathy for you. Might be worth using some rainbow gems for some OP units

I've farmed for Laboon in Ch 10 over 20+ times when it was half stamina and didn't get him. But I waited for 2x drop and farmed him then and got him the first try.

If it makes you feel better, I've been trying to farm for Laboon last week both during the 1/2 stamina and 2x drop events and no luck. I am currently still trying to get it today but still no luck. Mind you, I always save up my stamina the day before.
Last Thursday (1/2 stamina) 60 stamina from day before + entire day of stamina (144) = 34 runs
Last Sunday (2x drop) 62 stamina from day before + entire day of stamina (144) = 17 runs
Today (1/2 stamina) = 66 stamina from day before + up till now (138) = 34 runs
In total I did 68 runs of 1/2 stamina and 17 runs of 2x drop already.
Going to see if I can get it this Sunday...going to save up on Saturday noon.

I have got 3 Laboons so far. I accidentally levelled my first one up and evolved him because I didn't know what I was doing. Then I got a level 10 Laboon but I wanted the level 5 one and got that one too

I farmed Zeff for five days straight. I don't even know how many attempts that is.

Happygolucky, what do you mean that you save up your stamina from the day before?

I just got Laboon yesterday at 1/2 Stamina at the first try lol.

The drop rates in this game are a bit weird O.o

2 gems and 1 level up today (20ish runs) and only one gold flash from the whale... A belli bag.

I did it! In fact, I recorded everything...so counting my previous 68 runs on 1/2 stamina and 17 runs on 2x drop, today I did 58 more runs on 2x and finally got Laboon...so that's 143 runs in total...I bet no one can beat this (spent 5 gems...like regular rare recruit)
In the process, I got 8 turtles and leveled 7 characters to level 50 from nothing today...not bad..leveled 3 times on account as well.
Overall, a terrible experience none-the-less >_>"

Lol... I've done nothing but try farm Laboon since the island came out... must have been going at it for a week by now? And nothing..

This (and the 20 Usopp skill books giving me 0 skill ups during the skill up event) makes me cry.
