Beginner Team Building and gameplay questions

Hi there,

My name is Tyrahell and im a young level 55 Pirate from global server and i need some guidance about team building!

I play at the moment a str team with :
- Bartholomew Kuma as leader for 2xATK + 2xHP
- Alvida for damage mitigation
- Luffy Gear 2 for DPS
- Tony Tony Chopper arm Boost for DPS
- Fire Pearl as DPS (*cough cough*)
- Firends Bartholomew or Luffy or Arlong

At the moment im farming Arlong (in Arlong Park 14) to switch Fire Pearl to Arlong and gain some HP/DPS

Now, i feel quiet limited with this str team in term of damage and survivability, i cant handle content more than 15 stam and i got a very tough time to regen life on long fight. So there is two options : glass canon team with high dps and low survicability or team based on regen life.

Ive read around that vivi is a must for regen life round by round, should i make one of my farming priority ?
Is there some hope for str team for content > 15 stam or should i switch to another team paradigm ?
What are the most important unit fo farm in story mode (Arlong, Vivi, Smoker, another) ?
Where to farm unit xp for str team, i do Baratie 4 for red turtle and Ketchup, is there a better place ?

Vivi is most useful for getting earlier raid bosses like Mihawk,Garp and Chopper.

She's actually useless outside that.

With your str team you can probably take Mihawk anyway.

Most important units to farm in story mode are Arlong,Vivi and Croc.

Arlong should be your priority.

Best place to lvl units is fortnight. It's important not to neglect a colour as you never know what units you'll get in the future.

Your MVP units are

Kuma
Alvida
Shanks
Apoo
Thatch

so prioritise them.

Have you any tips for farming very resistant unit like crabs where you hit for 3-4 damage ?

Laboon?

Laboon is rubbish except at lvl 1 on a Vivi/Laboon team for early raids like Mihawk,Garp and Chopper. He's not a good sub.

Use Golden Pound Usopp instead of Laboon. His turn delay is amazing.

Everyone uses golden pound usopp. Will make it so much easier for you.

That should be your  team.

As for farming turtles,crabs etc - either use high hit users - like 5* zoro whose also a very good unit or use units that do fixed damage like 5* Sanji or Fullbody or use G3 friends.

Is there any unit to add at my str team for heal ?
Are friends chest exchange important enough to use a spoof loc application ?

Here is some update anq gameplay question : at the moment im pirate level 75 and trying to get through the Jaya Island in history mode but i feel like a lack of (dps and/or recovery) versus tough encounter (30 stam quest, end of chapter in history etc...).

My main team is a STR one and thanks to Revarious i have added some control to reach Jaya Island with good friends :
