Gear 3 luffy team

What would be the ideal gear 3 luffy team for the 40 stamina mihawk?

Gear 3 luffy work with everyone and anyone. His leader bonus apply after 3 perfect chain. So his team can change from fight to fight. You can use utility character like hammer usopp on hard fight, or a team of highest att characters you got for fast farming.

If it is for mihawk event I would suggest force crews to get double damage bonus. So I would say arlong and alvida for sure. You will have Usopp so you just need one more character to fill last spot. Red chopper is not bad for his two turn half defense or you can try smoker for survivability.

For Mihawk, I think I read somewhere that Mihawk has no defense or so little that it doesn't matter so Red Chopper's defense break won't help.

My thought on the best team against Mihawk would be

Gear 3rd Luffy - Friend
Gear 3rd Luffy
Saw-Tooth Arlong
Smooth Alvida - DR
Captain Smoker - DR
Golden Pound Usopp - Stun

That sound like a perfect team. 7 turns of protection. Plenty of time to kill him with ton of DMG

Does the 3.5 boost from both Gear 3 Luffy's stack? So, after 3 perfects, you'll be getting 12.25x boost?

Yup, the last three character will get a 12.5x boost.

Yeah, I bet that's the best team. Make sure the last 3 atks are luffys and arlong whoever is the strongest. Also, spend the first battles to make sure they get the Red Orbs. I forgot about Smoker's defence skill, that's great.
