Any luck with V2 Summon Festival?

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd post cause I'm super ecstatic. Been saving gems since Feb so thought I'd roll a few times to see if I'd get lucky this summon festival. Pulled Tank Zoro on 2nd try!



Thinking if I should quit while I'm ahead or try for Luffy V2 for the upcoming Mihawk.

3. Portgas D. Ace (which I didn't have compared to a lot of you and am quite happy about)

5. Monkey D. Luffy Gear Third
I was actually only aiming for Zoro but then I decided to see if I could get either Luffy or Nami, any more and I'd probably get doubles so I decided to stop. Saving up gems for later events. Pretty happy about the results.

Sadly mine sucked for the most part

Don't know if I should bother trying more.....only 1 V2.  Also, strangely enough most were DEX rather than QCK

On a side note, my Vivi acct I built for Mihawk got Lion Stance Zoro on the 1 pull it could afford (only just started it)

and i already have golden hammer god usopp so this was a big waste, i am glad i never thought about spending real money on this.

i just realized this is a rate up for straw hats in general and not just V2 strawhats

I really got no luck with pulls. Anyway I got my balloon luffy on the 56th pull. It is not a typo 56. What make it worse I now have every characters except for one. Guess what I am missing. Let's just say it make me sad...

I rerolled and got Shanks and 3rd gear Luffy
On my main I used 5 pulls and the only good thing I got was:
- Ace
- Towel Nami (pre evolved form, forget what its called)

Awww....that sucks.  Though that is why I usually won't pay for these sort of games with the exception of games with those ~$5 gem packs that you would need to login daily to get about $20-30 worth in gems.  If they had that sort of buys I would probably buy at least $20 worth if not $40 due to the fact that with my luck I probably would have extremely horrible luck and would get really pissed and stop playing. As for what you didn't get I can guess it would be one of the following: Towel Nami, Ace, Shanks, Robin

Very Nice! Ace and Towel Nami are both great pulls, Nami especially if you were lucky and got a Robin as well

Thanks! I was hoping to get gear 3 luffy on my main since I mainly want him for boss runs but at least I got some good ones haha. Unfortunately, I don't have robin.

Edit: Just spent $20 for one last chance to try and get gear 3 and I got it on the second pull! Got Mr.5 as my first pull. Now I got my team ready for Mihawk (Gear 3 Luffy, Gear 3 Luffy friend, Smooth Alvida, Arlong 4*, Mr. 5 and Ussop). All that's left is leveling them up!

Vanity me and you have the same luck. I know if I tried to get v2 luffy it would be ridiculous. I only had 5 fruits so I set my hopes high. I got plastic surgeon shot sanji.

I got a pre-towel nami and a pre-lion zoro. Im satisfied.

Though, I'm curious... with these V2s (or luffy for that matter, if I ever pull a gear 2), is it recommended to keep the original version ones? I have an Asura Zoro, Thunderbolt Nami, and a Gear Third Luffy.

I think I saw that Asura still is useful. But not sure about the other two.

They are still useful. Lion stance Zolo for instance shines as leader or support dex slasher, gear 3rd Luffy is a type independent captain, but gear 2nd Luffy is a good enemy nuker. I think the most behing got Nami, because the V2 Nami is just so great.

So,

Asura Zoro is actually a good alternative to Lion Song/Stance Zoro when you need to be tanky but cannot make use of the damage reduction captain ability due to too much damage (i.e 40 STA Mihawk)

Gear 2nd Luffy - Good nuke later on for when you don't need Gear 3rd's Captain ability or the lower AoE damage (i.e single boss fights)

Thunderbolt Tempo Nami is a bit more of a questionable keeper.  If you need her AoE or RCV, I think you can sub her in, otherwise the Happiness Punch ability to change PSY to INT is much better.  There probably will be times when you do want the AoE though when you aren't doing boss battles so if it was me, I would still keep her.



Sad to see that my luck sucks when compared to a good portion of the people here but at least it seems to be avg for the rest.
