Slasher Team HELP

Hello guys,
im new to the game and just rerolled to get shanks. So i decided to make a slasher team but my only doubt (so far) is who should i choose as captain BEFORE i farm Arlong? Thank you for the help
PS: im planning on using Arlong - Shanks - Buggy/Koro (who is the best?) - Zoro - God Usopp/another slasher

Arlong. Period I just finished the team also. Only need exp so I can evolve everyone: (

entirely depends on your current team. i got six sword hachi on the tutorial so i use zoro as captain to boost their attack. you can also get morgan for 20% extra hp for slashers. before you got arlong, you will rely quiet a lot to friend captain. try to be friends with people who use arlong or vivi as captain.
