Hello, I tried to reset my login streak but I failed. Maybe I didn't wait long enough. Has anybody tried this and it worked for them?

This isn't a bonus for consecutive logins. This is a total login bonus. Missing a day doesn't reset anything.
It is a one time bonus.
There is no point reseting it unless you want to waste your time to get back where your login streak was before to recieve the rewards.

Basidally that yea, otherwise people would just skip a day and get the 10-30 day bonus fruits again instead of going to 30 and then 60
