tips? tricks? ideas?

i just started playing this game a little over a week ago,
still building my crew to max groups but for now these are my units:

my current cost is 62, so i use a fighting team, zeff as captain and get a friend to tag along for that bonus, gear 2 luffy, price, and marco/alvita (just got marco, testing him out)
any ideas as to who i should prioritize in leveling and who i should be using in my crew would be very helpful all info is valued to me :3

Level up and evolve balloon luffy asap as he is one of the best captains in the game especially for new players since you don't need type specific people for him.

Besides that you should probably try to level up your usopp or farm up a new one in syrup as you unfortunately goofed in evolving to tabasco (golden hammer is generally considered the best unit in game due to special/cooldown).

While you power up the luffy to g3 you are generally doing alright as you don't have a v2 zoro or vivi for raid boss clearers. Only other suggestion I can give is try to farm up arlong with current event as he is strongest atk unit currently (stays that way until far into game for some weird reason). He would be a unit useful once you evolve your luffy to g3.

Edit: In regards to 'tricks" I highly recommend using all your stamina on weekends for the veteran gold cave as it averages (especially for people with newer accounts) one of the highest exp/stamina amounts. Basing this off of your chance to get fullbody which gives something like 160/1 stamina. Good for upping your team's capacity and overall stamina without having to use cash.

Thanks i never really worked around with usopp, i just recently noticed his skill for other evolutions is almost required :L ive been farming gold and exp turtles with my fighter setup for maxing out vivi, being that princess is going to be super useful to me. ill be rolling 150 or so gems this weekend so i hope i can get a good usopp/vivi :3

Unfortunately I doubt you can level up your vivi in time for raid event (you will most likely have trouble getting someone with laboon to add you without you having a 5* vivi). But since you have that many gems it means you are putting a good deal of cash into game so maybe you can by using them to refresh stamina (take advantage of turtles today).

i just dropped some more going for princess vivi, ive been farming elites for turtles but i missed all on monday sadly. im about half way until i get princess vivi, laboon is lv 35 now :L

Why are you leveling up laboon? You want him at lowest level possible so health cap is nice and low >_<

Nah, his special remains the same so keeping him at lvl 5 (the usual lvl he drops at) is optimal as you can use the hp difference you have to hopefully put in a strong unit like arlong or something and thus make it so you don't take 50 billion turns.

well thats lovely. ill go farm another one, not that big of a deal, and im stocked up on most evolution units so i dont really need to worry about special
